Why Mission Central?

The primary function of the church is not evangelism, but to be a place for the dwelling of God on the earth. This requires that people grow and receive God and occupy their place with God. That would have a natural effect of evangelism.
— Dallas Willard, “Rethinking Evangelism”

As we let Christ tend the soil of our hearts, we will bear the fruit of mission. Sharing the gospel comes out of experiencing it ourselves, across every inch of our daily experience.

Or, if we don’t attend to what’s happening in our inner life, we will not be able to lead others into the gracious reign of God. Instead, we will fumble about for the sense of our mission.

Mission Central is about forming leaders for mission from a heart of worship. As leaders lean into worship for its own sake, they’ll see fruitful mission like never before.
